I recently finished Gayl Jones's "Corregidora", and it got me interest in the similar narratives. I would appreciate any recommendation for similar books with matrilineal traumatic history of domestic/sexual violence spanning across multiple generations of women and the narrative focus of the memory and inheritance of such trauma.

The Blind Assassin by Margret Atwood
Homegoing may suit for this or Cane River by Lalita Tademy. I haven’t read the book you mentioned but sounds similar contextually. Also The Mountains Sing was a powerful read about two generations of women in 20th century Vietnam.
