Richard B. Sewall won the National Book Award for his massively detailed two-volume biography of her (if memory serves she is not actually born until the second volume), but assuming you are looking for something less dense, I really liked Alfred Habegger’s _My Wars Are Laid Away in Books_.

Have a look at The Gorgeous Nothings. It’s not a biography as such but it’s a beautiful thing.
