I'm looking for books that feature:
- Character bonds: Any type of connection — friends, siblings, family, strangers, romance, etc. I want to care about the characters and the group if there is one. Found family is always welcome.
- Isolated settings: Islands, small towns, mansions, or chalets. Examples: And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie, Pines by Blake Crouch, the TV show Lost, and the Korean show Light Shop (adapted from the webtoon by Kang Full).
- Mystery and suspense: Possibly with some supernatural elements, but with a logical/closed ending. Recommendations without any supernatural elements are welcome as well.
- Psychological tension / slight psychological horror: Atmosphere can be suspenseful, eerie, unsettling, spooky, or slightly chilling/creepy, but not full-on horror — nothing that would keep me awake for days.
- Secrets and unanswered questions that keep you interested and hooked.
- Ideally character-driven, but plot-driven is also fine.
- Tension, immersive setting, and a satisfying ending.
- The tone can be deeper or darker, but humor is welcome too.
The suggestions don't have to fit everything, but I'd love recommendations the fit the most of what I'm looking for. Thanks in advance!

The Guest List by Lucy Foley. Murder in a wedding on an isolated island. Not a masterpiece but fits your bill.
