I just don't know how to search books, I tried by using Google and probably did it wrong. Anyways I do watch a lot of movies, so I can use them as example now.
Her, lost in translation, la la land are my best examples (sadly), these movies really made me think a lot about how I perceive love and human connection, and I'm struggling to even find other movies that can do that again.
I don't like the perfect/ideal love stories like the ones from romcoms, they feel empty, unrealistic, and plastic. I don't need sad stories or bad endings either, just something more psychological or realistic.
The only read that I had of this kind was White Nights from Fiódor Dostoyevski. That was a sad one.
