So I love horror books, but Stephen King I just can’t get into because he is just way too descriptive. Like I know what things look like if that makes sense. I don’t need 3 pages to describe the scene. But I want something engaging that’s going to take a while to read. Does Stephen King have any books where he’s not over the top descriptive? Or any other horror books that are a good length, 500 plus at least is preferable.
