I’m looking for novels that combine gothic romance with mystery or mild horror, set by the sea, on a cold, windy seaside, where the plot revolves around a lighthouse.
Ideally one of the characters would be a lighthouse keeper, fisherman, or another solitary coastal figure. I prefer 19th-century books, but modern titles are fine too. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! 🙂
