I'm looking for a book to deal with figuring out living as a single woman in your 30s. It's very existential. The world is so fucked. Nowhere feels like it will logically be a good place to live in the future except maybe closer to family, but starting over feels so daunting, heartbreaking, and possibly dumb.
I liked Ghosts by Dolly Alderton and The Husbands by Holly Gramazio. Also, Belonging by Toni Morrison is helping, just starting out on that one.
Any recs welcome.

This is a random list, but these came to mind (I am now 42, lol): Motherhood by Sheila Heti, Either/Or by Elif Batuman (the first book is set in college, The Idiot), Rachel’s Holiday and Again, Rachel by Marian Keyes, Run Towards the Danger (non fic) by Sarah Polley, the Bridget Jones books by Helen Fielding, and the Emily Henry romances (Funny Story and Book Lovers in particular).
