Any good books out there? Apocalyptic, end of world type stuff
Looking for any good Apocalyptic, end of world type books. Always wanted to write a book like that but don't have the skill. So I shall read em all then!
The Road by Cormac McCarthy. It’s a story about a father and his young son trekking through a post-apocalyptic United States, where barely anything grows or lives. And what other humans remain, are to be feared.

I recently finished Swan Song and am currently reading Station Eleven. Swan Song is more of along the lines of The Stand by Stephen King (which is also an awesome post apocalypse in case you haven’t read it). I’ve only just started Station Eleven, but I’m enjoying it so far.
A Canticle For Leibowitz by Walter M. Miller Jr. is good for a more philosophical sci-fi type thing.
There’s also the “Silo” series by Hugh Howey. I haven’t read the books yet, but started the TV show and I’m enjoying it so far (still on season 1).
