I think you’ll like Earthsea Cycle by Ursula K LeGuin. The style of language is a bit more modern than Moby Dick and lotr, but it has a similar way of expressing wisdom and thoughts on the human condition. I’d also say that the beauty in her prose is more in its simplicity. Where Melville is a bit lavish and meandering when expressing his grand views, and Tolkien tended to be a bit more poetic, LeGuin will hit you with a simple phrase that feels wildly profound. The world building and stories are also awesome.
