Working a corporate job and going to grad school, my brain is mush by the end of the day.
I want to relax screen free, but I’m not personally a fan of romance / chick lit / YA / mystery genres.
Any suggestions of literary fiction / poetry / essays / short story collections that are calm and cozy?
I want the vibes of a Nancy Meyers movie, just without the meet cute or dramatic plot.
Thank you 💜

*Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe* by Fannie Flagg or some of her other books
James Herriot’s books are my go to for comfort/cozy reading
Not truly cozy, but the Thursday Murder Club series will not fail you. Well written, gentle, clever, and humane. Give them a try. Also, the audiobooks are amazing.
