I'm about 20% into the book right now, and I'm incredibly frustrated by Margo. She had an affair with someone she didn't even like and didn't use protection. I can understand that because she was groomed, even if she doesn't realize it. However, once she decided to keep the baby, it's like she did nothing to prepare for the next few months. She didn't think about childcare, and she didn't even consider having a baby would affect her roommates. She goes to meet Mark's mother, and doesn't even listen while they talk to her and she's too embarrassed to read the contract they put in front of her? I just know something bad is going to come out of it. She said something along the lines of looking like there's nothing going on in her head and I'm inclined to believe it at the moment.
Anyway, I'm very frustrated by her, but there's a lot of story left. Is it worth finishing? Does it get better or am I going to continue being frustrated by her choices?
