I really enjoy magical realism as a palette cleanser between hefty classics. I truly don’t care about the plot and how disjointed it feels. In fact, the more fever-dream-esque, the better!!

It can be children’s, middle grade, or general literary/adult. Please no rape, child abuse, or child loss (serious triggers for me) themes.
