I just finished Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil by VE Schwab and that was excellent.

Fingersmith by Sarah Waters – Fair warning, at one point I hated both characters, but the conclusion was so earned at the end.

I’m currently reading “Girls, Girls, Girls” I’m only a quarter of the way in but it’s been really great so far

Two different books by Marissa (Mac) Crane:
I Keep My Exoskeletons to Myself – Dystopian/Sci-Fi. Grief. Poetic and aching.
A Sharp Endless Need – wlw coming of age story. Forbidden lesbian longing. Basketball. (I do not like basketball, but I loved this book)

Cantoras by Carolina de Robertis. It starts in the 1970s. Uruguay has taken a stunning turn towards fascism and five women with loose romantic and social ties travel from the capital city to a remote fishing village where they can be themselves. Over the next four decades, they purchase a hut as a shared getaway and become family to one another. It’s so well-written.

Allison Bechdel’s Dykes To Watch Out For comics! They’re superb storytelling with great, relatable characters (even for a straight dude like me).
