Hi! As the title says, I’m looking for a good book to start to get into the fall mood. Other books in this category I’ve liked are –

I’m currently reading Something Wicked This Way Comes because it’s a classic. I’ve been ruined by social media though because I don’t think it’s fast paced enough and am kind of slogging my way through the first half. Have you read any spooky, fall themed books you just couldn’t put down?

One of the spookiest books I’ve read is The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson. It’s a classic. A little worried it might have a similar slow-pace issue that you’re experiencing with Something Wicked, but wanted to throw this one out there, just in case.
I don’t know that it is specifically a fall book, but I like Doctor Sleep by Stephen King in the fall.
