I really liked The Yiddish Policeman's Union by Michael Chabon. Any suggestions after that?
What I especially liked were the fictional historical setting and the cultural Jewish elements (though this can be any culture, as long as it's semi-factual and well written).
Is Kavalier and Clay similar, or just as good as the rumours hint at?
