Troubled, obsessed painter/sculptor

Does anyone have any recommendations where the main character or one of the main characters is a troubled painter and or sculptor who is preferably obsessed with a person or lover? The POV can be from the artist or other MC but ideally it highlights the artists obsession. Preferably a dark, gothic, heavy vibe. I know it’s pretty specific but I’d figure I’d give it a shot! It can be non- fiction or fiction
