I dont mean it in the sense that the scientific jargon are hard to compehend, I usually understand those well especially if the story gives context. What I mean by easy to read is the descriptions/visualizations doesnt get too tough on the imagination. Kind of like how Dark Matter by Blake Crouch is.

Im trying to shift genres from YA Contemporary/Romance cause tbh that doesn't fit me anymore and Im very interested in sci fi so I guess I could start there. I wanna read anything in the genre whether its aliens or time travel or galactic forces or human cloning whatsoever. I think it would be better if there was some family/relationship/friendship/self and identity stuff in between. Again, kind of like Dark Matter (this is the only sci fi book I have read sadly)

Doesn't have to be the best sci fi books has to offer, just has to be interesting.

The Expanse series by James S A Corey is very easy to read. Throughout most of the books all chapters are kept around 10-12 pages, which is a relief from ever feeling stuck. The characters are interesting, the premise isn’t too hard to latch on to since they stay within our planets and galaxy.

There’s nine books plus a tenth book comprised of all the novellas in between. Happy reading.
