I’m a low level, mildly successful manager at a major (100’s of billions of dollars) manufacturing company in the US. I am 26 years old and have been at this job for 4 years. The direction I’d like to go in my career is very cut throat, and there are a lot people trying to do the same thing as me, but I’ve been told I’ve got a great shot at an impactful career if my team and I keep preforming the way we are (maybe a dangling carrot? Idk, I think I am pretty good but want to get better) I’d like books that would help me get an edge on people, put me one up, give me more tools to broaden my range of people skills. I’ve read 43 laws of power, and while it was good the ethics were questionable. But it has helped me. What else ya got?
