Looking for some books like:
-Confessions of a Forty Year Old Fuck Up
-How to Age Disgracefully
-Sylvia’s Second Act
-Mrs. Quinn’s’ Rise to Fame
These books all kind of orbit the same vibe: funny, heartfelt stories about people hitting reset later in life (40s, 60s, even 80s) and finding out there’s still a lot of adventure left. The characters are women (and a few quirky men) who’ve had marriages fall apart, careers flop, or secrets come back to the surface—but instead of giving up, they dive into new friendships, unexpected love, or weird little communities that keep them going. They’re messy, witty, and vulnerable, and the big themes are reinvention, resilience, and the reminder that life doesn’t actually have an age limit when it comes to joy or fresh starts.

The Levelling Up series by KF Breene is urban fantasy and really funny, heartfelt and all about quirky found family and personal transformation. I loved the first 4 books on the series. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/51385818
You Should Have Known by Jean Hanff Korelitz. This was recently dramatized as The Undoing, but the book is quite different from the show and focuses more on the main character rebuilding her life.
