Female centric historical fiction for someone who hasn’t picked up a book in a while.

I used to be an avid reader but life got busy so haven't had the chance to read so I have been planning to restarting.

I love historical fiction, I have loved little women for years. I like stories that span lifetimes and tells tales with realism. I was thinking of starting pachinko since I watched the show but am worried that since I have watched it, it might take away from the book? I also read great reviews about lisa see but am not sure which book to choose since all sound great.
