I’m looking for books that might have a protagonist who is religious and/kr questions their faith every now and then and has conversations about it too, not necessarily putting it down but just a part of their journey.
For children’s lit i know there is are you there God it’s me margaret, does anyone have other suggestions?!

John Updike – Roger’s version – not an easy read about a theology prof, who got involved in sexual relation with a young girl.
Walter Miller -A canticle for Leibowitz – Classic SF about a catholic monastery after a nuclear war.
Ken Follett – Pillars of the Earth – medieval romantic adventure, centered around a monastery.
