I was thinking I want to read something like the cinnamon bun bookstore. But more like what I wanted it to be.
If you liked the book a lot, I’m glad for you and also a little concerned for you (just kidding (mostly)) 😀
I loved the vibe with the friends, and the small town, but the male character fell super flat, completely unrealistic in my opinion and it was wayyyy too much about the spice.
This is kind of turning out to be a rant (I still gave it three stars 😅) but I have seen

And I was wondering if someone maybe also wanted more from the Dream Harbor Series (actually debating to read the ginger bread one :D) and read these or something similar with fall vibes and maybe Gilmore girls, but also goes deeper , for example I really loved Happy Place and just for the summer, but they were obviously both summer books, but especially jfts stayed in my head for a long time.
Also it really doesn’t have to be a “romance book” first, actually they almost always fall flat for me because I need MUCH more going in a book than just two people not liking and then liking each other.
Sooo maybe you have new suggestions or you just want to share your experience with fall books that are not giving. I’d love to hear from you:)
