I feel this might be a niche request, but;
I've always loved the video game Streets of Rage and have recently been playing the updated version. Whenever I play, I always find myself thinking 'man, I'd love to be able to read about this'. You know when you watch a movie that you absolutely loved and want to stay in that world for longer/experience it in greater depth?
I love the settings of the levels, the music, the characters, the early 90's/late 80's Americana vibe of the whole thing. Basically the whole city-at-night, gritty streets, neon lights vibe.
Can anyone recommend any books that would make a good companion to the video game?
