Classic Romantic Literature that will not make me want to bang my head against the wall

Basically the title! Have read my way through Bronte Sisters and Jane Austen and am looking for more romantic centered classic lit that at the same level/under of prose complexity and confusing plots. And interesting characters with some kind of real chemistry (as much as the time allowed). For reference, some of my staples are Jane Eyre and the professor by Charlotte Bronte, Persuasion by Jane Austen, Agnes Grey by Anne Bronte, Sand & Musset by Geroge Sand, the awakening by Kate Chopin and a room with a view by Edward M Forster.
