I’m in a reading slump and need a real page-turner.
I haven't been able to finish a book in months. I need something with a fast pace and a great hook that will grab me from the first chapter. Any genre except horror.
first thought I had turned out to be kind of horror so never mind that one. I defiitely felt Not Without My Daughter by Betty Mahmoody was a page turner & Night Shift by Nora Roberts. One is memoir/biography, while the other is romance/thriller.

The Kaiju Preservation Society by John Scalzi is fun and like reading a fast paced action movie.

The kingsbridge novels by Ken Follett. Each one is about a thousand pages and I could not put them down. The characters’ fortunes rise and fall every 10 pages or so, which really keeps the momentum going.
