I’m looking for something that talks about how much we take modern luxuries for granted and how rarely we stop to consider the logistical networks and processes responsible for getting these products into our hands?
When you drink that daily cup of coffee, how often do you think about the labour required on the farms, the truckers transporting the goods, etc? We just come to expect it to be there, on demand.
Even things like municipal services. What goes into keeping our lights on? How often when you get a glass of drinking water do you think about how it’s delivered, treated, etc?
Anything along these lines please!!
