Think a house of leaves-—I really want to read it which I figured out after reading the first few chapters but I REALLY want to save reading it until I have a physical copy because I know I’ll love it so much. So gimme a book like that!!

A book where WORDS shift would be super cool too—-sorta like in the last book of mistborn? I loved that specific thing so much and I’d love a book more focused on that.

I’ve had this recurring dream ever since I was super young about a house that shifts?? With like corridors appearing and stuff, so I’ve always found stuff like this really cool. It’s not a scary dream by the way, just an entertainingly creepy one!!

It’s more whimsical than creepy, but Diana Wynne Jones did the “shifting house” thing wonderfully in “House of Many Ways” and “Conrad’s Fate.”

There’s a book called “Ella Minnow Pea” about a dystopian society where the government starts banning certain letters of the alphabet, so people have to start changing the ways they spell words. The book is written with fewer and fewer letters over time.
