I have drawn my cousin in secret santa who is a woman in her early 20s with autism. I include this info because she has many passions such as being vehemently passionate about feminism. She loves dragons and fantasy, absolutely loves arguing about politics and human rights but hates books that have sex scenes in them.
I was thinking either something to do with feminism or something to do with fantasy or both if there is such a thing. But I must reiterate she does not like sex scenes. For example although she loves dragons she will not read fourth wing because of the sex scenes in it.
I want to get her a great book as part of her present because she was so thoughtful a few years ago when she had me and got me some beautiful books. I really want to return the favour and don't know where to start.

Mistborn has a romance storyline, with no sex scenes. Its a fun book, and LOTS to be had in the cosmere. Its has political intrigue, fascinating characters, and a really cool magic system. And no sex in any of Brandon Sanderson’s books.
Ursula le guin seems like the perfect choice for this! Earthsea has all of the above and is amazing, and a passionate feminist will have a wonderful time exploring the works/essays/interviews of le guin I reckon
A Thousand Splendid Suns – Khaled Hosseini (it’s such a beautiful story and it explores female resilience)
Lord of The Rings.
