I'm looking for recommendations for books where a group of people meet in a shared space – [libraries, public transport, Anonymous meetings etc] – all of them unlikely people to become friends. Nothing necessarily outwardly romance based, or 'spicy'. Just the sort of story where they have to club together to sort something out, or 'solve' something, or help each other, and friendships are formed.
Some examples of books like this that I've read and enjoyed and want something similar to are:
The Girl on the 88 Bus – Freya Sampson
The Last Library – Freya Sampson
The Authenticity Project – Clare Pooley
The People on Platform Five – Clare Pooley
The Reading List – Sara Nisha Adams
The Library – Bella Osbourne
What You Are Looking For Is In The Library – Michiko Aoyama
Thanks in advance!
