I don't know how well it translates to just text but I was thinking I'd like some more smart fights with a limited power set. Weird ghost beings are optional.
As an example for the kind of thing I really liked, in Ajin the big bad chops off his hand, puts it in a food delivery bag and has it delivered somewhere, then when it arrives he throws himself into a wood chipper so when he dies he automatically regenerates from the biggest part of his body, his remaining hand.
