I’m looking for a book that feels like…

Hey guys!
I’m looking for a kind of “specific” story.

I’m not only a book lover, I also like to play story games like “Until Dawn”.
I love devastating and gut wrenching storytelling and in “Until Dawn”, there is that storyline about how the mine workers became Wendigos and how the Professors and such treated those patients.
So I’m looking for a similar story:
– old sanatorium vibes
-finding out what happened to patients (or something similar
-I just want to have the same vibe as that.
Something I can’t put down easily.
