I am interested to know the actual history of the world not the fabricated one by the "winners". About ww1, ww2 historical events. Stuff that I won't know unless I want to know. Help me with books that'll help me go down the rabbit hole. TIA

I took a WWII history class and the book I remember reading was War Without Mercy: Race & Power In the Pacific War .
A World Undone. About WW1 with interesting background info on all major players.
The Silk Roads by Peter Frankopan is full of history you didn’t learn in school – focusing on the East more than the West.
Lies My Teacher Taught Me by James Loewen is a good place to start. The book gets into the “hows” and “whys” of bad history.
The World of Yesterday by Stefan Zweig
