So, I’d love to read a chick-lit-type-thing with a love story between two detectives/cop partners. F/M or M/M. Don’t really care which.
Preferably either (or both):
– enemies to lovers
– sunshine/grump
And hopefully slow-burn … I don’t mind a darker plot, and it’s also fine if the love story isn’t the main thing. I just want a slow-burn with lots of tension and high stakes 😂
I’m sure it exists somewhere. Or, rather, I hope it exists somewhere 😂

Well if you are into fantasy I’d suggest **The Hollows** Series by **Kim Harrison**. She has 18-20 books in the series. Its Urban Fantasy following 2 former detectives of the Cincinnati PD who become Private investigators of the paranormal underbelly of the city (one’s a witch and the other is a vampire). Most everything takes place in and around Cincinnati. If you are familiar with City, its a great set of books with some nice references to everything that is Cincinnati. A great blend of the best parts of an Anita Blake and Stephanie Plum novel.
It is very vampire and werewolf friendly (but not at all in the Twilight sense of things (imo), this is a bit more adult and better written) with quite a few complicated love triangles and for that matter love rhombuses (rhombi ?) and love dodecahedrons with both F\M and F\F interests and subplots throughout the series.
