My 12 month old loves bringing me books for me to read to her and I wanted to expand our collection as some of them are getting up on 200+ reads at this point. I was kind of disappointed after visiting my local barnes and nobles and seeing 20 version of "Don't touch the x" and other books that all looked the same but had a different animal so I was going to ask for some ideas on what is available elsewhere.
We love looking at books like birding for babies/Dr.Seuss discovers Dinosaurs that have basic concepts like numbers/colors AND an interesting tidbit for me to read to her before moving on. We also like the books like 100 first words for babies to try and practice some vocabulary/picture recognition.
Any ideas for something similar? We haven't started on any screen time yet so character (Bluey, pooh, mickey, etc.) have pretty much all fallen flat as she doesn't care about any of them.

You already mentioned Dr Seuss, but my mom’s favorite to read to me was “what was I scared of” by him. Also if you’re somewhere with a Barnes and noble, their kids section is great. I recently got my niece their simplified version of Alice in wonderland. There are tons of pictures and it’s an overall pretty book. They have other simplified classics too
