Help! I am sort of a picky reader, and I struggle to find books that I really like. I just finished listening to the audiobook of Project Hail Mary and loved it and am sad it’s over. Now what should I read?

I don’t usually go for fantasy or sci-fi, but the scientific realism of Project Hail Mary made me really excited about it.

I enjoy memoirs and nonfiction, and I have been enjoying books lately that teach me something I didn’t know before or is a glimpse to experiences from other people.

    Thanks in advance!

You might like the Andromeda Strain by Michael Crichton (yes, the Jurassic Park guy). No romance, just a medical science mystery thriller. I loved it, I’ve reread it several times.

If you like nonfiction I’m sure you’ve read Mary Roach but if you haven’t look into her! Funny, quirky and always informative.

    2. The SIlo trilogy by Hugh Howey was my fun read after PHM. I didn’t expect it to be as good as it was. I really liked it! There’s also a series on Apple TV, I think.

If you want a serious sci-fi, I just finished The Three Body Problem trilogy. Woof. What a read.

    4. We Are Bob (We are Legion) by Dennis E Taylor.

Similar vibe about a sciencey guy solving scifi problems with a humble and can do attitude.

If you happen to enjoy the Project Hail Mary audiobook Bob’s is read by the same actor!

We are Legion (the Bobiverse series) has the same narrator and a similar vibe to Project Hail Mary
