For what it’s worth I have “I have no mouth and I must scream” and “The Killing Star” in the wishlist along with I, Robot, and am currently reading the 1818 version of Dracula. I was never really a fan in of forced reading in school and was quite lazy but in my later years I’m really enjoying reading classics from specific eras. Don’t feel like it has to be a genre definer to recommend though. I have been on a war path through pieces of fiction I know have had a profound impact on society as a whole. Then I thought I could go on to the more modern titles, as the writing styles between today and yesteryear are so vastly different.

    🤗 thanks!

If you liked 1984, then Brave New World by Aldous Huxely has to be your next read.

Most books by Margaret Atwood should be right up your alley as well. I recommend Oryx and Crake (the trilogy).
