I didn’t read much growing up due to a learning disability and promised myself as an adult I would read all the classics. So far, I’ve read and *loved* 1984, Brave New World, The Count of Monte Cristo, The Stranger, The Metamorphosis, The Picture of Dorian Gray, The Fellowship of the Ring, and Wuthering Heights.
I also just finished The Bell Jar and can’t explain how much I hated it.
I’ve tried reading Emma and Sense and Sensibility, but just haven’t been able to get into either.
Out of all the ones I’ve read so far, Dorian Gray, Monte Cristo, and Wuthering Heights have been my favorites, so much so that I genuinely felt sad to finish them… are there any other classics similar to those titles?
