Would be fun to explore someone slowly lose their moral compass, while another finds theirs
And a cool bonus would be if the hero triggers the villains reform, and the villain made the hero fall
Maybe at the midpoint of their arcs, for a moment, they work together because they have the same morals
I don't want only fallen hero stories, or just redeemed villain stories, they need to happen simultaneously

I’d say the School for Good and Evil series by Soman Chainani has this trope. The genre is fantasy and there are 9 books in total, although 2 are prequels and 1 is a companion book. It also includes your bonus plot point about the hero and the villain pushing each other to the other side.
There’s also a movie adaptation of the first book on Netflix, although I enjoyed it I know a lot of people think it’s way worse than the books, especially since they cut some parts out.
