In need of Dense Si-Fi

I read Children of Time about a year ago, and it’s genuinely one of my favorite books. The writing style, characters, and alien narrative had me unable to put the book down. Then I read Cage of Souls, and that became a VERY close second. Since then, I haven’t been able to find any books that made me feel the same. (The Three-Body Problem came close), but I still haven’t found anything quite like them. Please help!
