Hello! I’ve been reading quite a bit lately and I’ve fallen into Romantasy BookTok. I’ve read so many good series and trilogies, however I’m starting to realize that the books are feeling very rinse and repeat now (fated mates, plot twist that the FMC is one of the most powerful beings in the book, the “villain” male character ends up being the love interest, etc.), yet those are most of the recommendations I’ve been getting online. I want to get some recommendations for books you weren’t able to put down! I love books with a romance subplot, political commentary, strong female leads, some spice but not an overwhelming amount in the book. Dystopian and fantasy are my favorite genres, however I tend to stay away from vampire/werewolf books. I also love love love romantic historical fiction/time pieces, and I am not a fan of dark romance. Any suggestions?
