FICTION ONLY PLEASE
I’ve gotten the feels from many books but none have made me outright cry. I’m wondering if any story can hook me deep enough emotionally to bring me to tears.
Thanks!
Edit: also no animal abuse please and thank you

Each Little Bird That Sings by Wiles. Written for kids, but the ability to feel empathy grows from reading stories, so start with kid’s books. It’s a great novel anyway. Broke from crying.
The Dream of a Ridiculous Man by Dostoevsky
Some might say this book should not be suggested, because of all the triggers and very sensitive topics, but a little life is the saddest book i’ve ever read, at one point i was crying so hard i had to go clean the kitchen to calm down.
