looking for male yearner, male perspective, romance novels

Hello, I've been wanting to read more romance novels, but I find that most famous works are written from the woman's perspective and feature the female gaze towards men, and if they're not, they're written from an extremely lustful and dominating male point of view.

If you would kindly recommend to me some romance novels that feature the male perspective and highlight his love rather than his lust (I'm a huge fan of the male yearner, so that would also be a pro). I'm also personally not a fan of contemporary romance, but would not be opposed to something published more recently. I have read and enjoyed A Sport and a Pastime and the early chapters of Venus in Furs. Thank you for your help!
