I got out of a 3 month situationship yesterday where I felt like I was always putting in more effort and time then she was. It sucked feeling like I was showing up as my full authentic self for someone who always had a foot out the door, and I’ve been feeling a little cynical about finding a real connection, even though I love the idea of love. If yall have any book suggestions that might relate to any of my feelings I’d really appreciate anything and everything, the weather is cooling down and I’d like a good book to distract me.

Any of Leeanne Slade’s books – I think they’re exclusive to audible but they’re always about the main character finding their sense of self as well as love
The Wedding People was an enjoyable read with a really good take on relationships and the individuals within them. Not gonna win any Nobel prizes, but I really enjoyed it!
Also, I Hope This Finds You Well. Great plot and characters and about finding out what one wants in a relationship.
Good luck.
