Hello! I just finished a book that has a strong siege/horror component. I don't want to spoil it by giving the name, but basically the main characters are being hunted by creatures stronger than themselves, with limited supplies.
The final battle is a magnificent town defense where the survivors use every last scrap of ingenuity and resourcefulness to even the odds against more numerous and far stronger opponents. I loved it, and am looking for nofe like that.
So. Probably I want fantasy or sci fi. Books with audiobook versions would be appreciated but not necessary, I like a mix of reading and listening. I like horror and sci fi. I really like the idea in particular of fragile humans having to deal with an opponent who is physically much more dangerous than a human, so zombie survival is not quite my ideal.
Anything come to mind?
