My book club is trying to plan what to read during December. Does anybody have book recs for short (ideally around 200 pages) books that would put someone in a festive mood? Possibly not something super religious, just something with a cozy vibe. The only genres nobody in the book club likes are YA and romance/romantasy, but literally anything else (non-fiction included) would be fine 🙂

A Christmas Carol is a pretty short read, and I enjoyed it tremendously even knowing the plot.
Skipping Christmas (made into the movie Christmas with the Kranks) is also pretty short but sweet.
