I'm in-charge of finding the next book for my book club and I'm having the hardest time finding something that everyone can agree on. I'm very open to all recommendations, just no:
- Self Help/Memoirs
- Nothing over 600 pages
- Magic themes (our last two books were heavy magical fantasies and everyone wants a break from that)
- no horror/gore
- No series, only standalone books
Feminist literature is always welcome. Some books our club has previously loved are I Who Have Never Known Men, Human Acts, Pachinko, Almond, On Earth We're Briefly Gorgeous, The Vegetarian, and The Picture of Dorian Gray.
Please help!
