Hi guys
Medical graduate here
For whatever reason I stopped reading books as soon as I started medschool and now I want to get back to reading.
I used to read Dan brown kinda mysterious novels but since I’m starting again after many years, any good recommendations are welcome. (Also jkrowling paulo coelho)
Thanks in advance

Cat’s Cradle
The Count of Monte Cristo by Dumas! This is lengthy but an easy read and action-packed. It’s immersive and keeps you hooked. Lots of characters to keep straight though, so I ended up making a little character map.
If looking for something a little shorter- The Hobbit (Tolkien) helped me out of a reading rut in grad school and I don’t even like fantasy that much! A very zippy read. If you end up liking it, you can always move on to LOTR.
For something more like Dan Brown (but better imo), Foucault’s Pendulum by Umberto Eco.
