Trying to write a book of my own mythology. Could y’all recommend some inspiration?

The mythology I’m writing is based off of some traditional Wiccan belief, and predominantly features witchcraft. A lot of the stories in the myths are about great mages in the past who were risen to godhood after death, and while some of the stories have dark elements, the world i’m trying to portray is very optimistic. Any ideas for inspiration? Historical and contemporary suggestions both work. Thankya!
