Got a lot going on – and I want something I can loose myself in. Most of the books I read are really quiet, thought provoking, etc. and I just like something I can’t put down.
Some books that really liked & I couldn’t put down: the magicians, hunger games series, Circe by Madeline miller, the girl who fell beneath the sea by Axie oh.
I wouldn’t mind a spicy book – I haven’t really read one that I’ve gotten into though. I’m pretty picky about writing styles
Thanks!

Watership Down
The Lonesome Dove
If you liked Circe, have you read The Song of Achilles? Same author; Madeline Miller
The Expanse series by James S.A. Corey — it’s like reading a great action movie.
I’m sure this will be downvoted to hell, but the ACOTAR series did this for me (beyond the first book). It’s like trash TV, you know it isn’t great but you watch it because it’s pretty engaging, and that’s certainly how I felt with this series. It got me hooked and I devoured it, I can’t lie.
11/22/63 by Stephen King. It’s an excellent book with a love story
Th Ministry of Time fits the bill, including the spice.
Sara Donati
The A deadly education trilogy is really great, if you don’t mind YA. I usually don’t even like reading YA, but enjoyed this one.
The Lies of Locke Lamora – One of my favorite fantasy books, really engrosses you in a fantastical city and culture.
Ancillary Justice trilogy by Ann Leckie
Red rising
ExpeditionaryForce is a comedic sci-fi and has like 20 books r/exfor
The expanse series is really good too
