I really want to read a book where the mc is like an alien (or non-human in general) but is living on earth and has to blend in with the humans (preferably highschool age) and maybe falls in love or makes a few friends and has to struggle with their identity. I am thinking something along the lines of I Am Number Four and maybe even the Lux series from Jennifer L Armentrout (romance is not really a must but i know Lux is pretty romance focused). I just want something with a similair vibe that also has the themes of this non-human mc trying to fit in and all the struggles that it brings. Please let someone see my vision cuz i’ve been searching for something like this to read for a while 🙏
